Standard missions organize questions by benchmark, with at least 20 science questions per standard and additional vocabulary challenges. Grade 5 targets sit alongside earlier-grade review to help students revisit foundational ideas.
Ask testable questions, plan fair investigations, interpret data, and support explanations with evidence.
Explore the solar system, the water cycle, weather, climate, and Earth's changing systems.
Investigate matter, mixtures, energy, electricity, forces, and motion through application and reasoning questions.
Connect body structures and functions, adaptations, plant growth, and interactions between organisms and their environments.
The Vocabulary Lab includes the Grade 5 glossary terms from Appendix C of the science standards. Practice scientific meanings, read explanations, and use new words to describe real examples.
Friendly battles combine two vocabulary challenges and three science questions. There is no speed timer and no lost XP for an incorrect answer.
Choose a helmeted explorer and collect science companions across a 2,529-question voyage. Reach Andromeda after answering every question correctly. Your shipboard plant grows early; weekly science practice keeps it healthy, and a wilted plant can recover.
Fixed learning rewards encourage progress. Replaying the same correct question does not generate extra points, and missions include reminders to take a break.
Science Quest is a supplemental enrichment activity for fifth graders. Teachers create student accounts, manage a class of up to 80 students, and review performance by standard. First-attempt accuracy and question coverage are tracked separately, so retries do not replace a student's first result.
Class standings use display aliases. Account details, learning reports, and class activity require a sign-in. Game practice supports instruction; teachers use fresh tasks, explanations, and hands-on investigations to judge readiness.
Science Quest is designed for Mr. Mathison's fifth-grade science students as a teacher-guided supplement to classroom learning.

The game covers all 37 Grade 5 benchmarks included in the Florida science standards, plus 74 prior-grade review benchmarks. Questions are grouped into Nature of Science, Earth & Space, Physical Science, and Life Science.
